The Institute has decided to hold a Discussion Session on “Direction of Accounting Profession in the Context of Present World Trend” on December 10, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. at ICMA Bhaban, Nilkhet, Dhaka. Dr. M. Zubaidur Rahman, Program Manager, Financial Management Unit, Operation Policy and Country Services, The World Bank, USA will present his paper and abreast you about the latest changes of the accountancy profession. Mr. Showkat Ali Waresi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Project Director, Strengthening Accounting and Auditing Standards and Practices in the Corporate Sector project will inform you the latest developments of the project.
